JCI Registration Numbers

Boats in Japan must be registered and undergo a safety inspection. The agency that is responsible for boat registrations and inspections is Japan Craft Inspection (JCI). The Okinawa branch office is located in Naha, near Tomari Port. If you own a boat in Japan, you must make sure that the JCI certificate and decals are current. If not you may call or visit the JCI office and schedule an appointment to have your boat inspected.
